Questions and Contact

Do I need to sign up for Summer Bridge this summer?

Yes, you need to sign up for one of our four Summer Bridge sessions. You only need to attend one Summer Bridge session.

Do I need supplies for Summer Bridge?

You will need a computer and access to the internet to participate in Summer Bridge. We also recommend the following items:

  • A notebook and pen/pencil to take notes
  • A cup or bottle of water – it’s a 4-hour event
  • A snack

We also recommend you let the people you’re living with know when your Summer Bridge session is so they can plan to give you as much quiet space as possible to allow you to focus and engage.

Is Summer Bridge mandatory?

Yes, Summer Bridge attendance is required for all new Seattle Promise students. If you do not attend a Summer Bridge session, you will lose Seattle Promise eligibility, including the Seattle Promise scholarship and other supports.

Will there be an orientation for families and supporters, too?

We’re planning to offer at least one optional session each day for families and supporters.

Who is my Retention Specialist and when will we meet?

You will be able to see your assigned Seattle Promise Retention Specialist when you log in to Starfish. They will be at Summer Bridge so you’ll get to see their face. You can also schedule a meeting with them before Summer Bridge if you want by using Starfish.

I need access to a computer or internet so I can participate in Seattle Promise. Can you help?

Yes! Fill out this form as soon as possible so we can work to get you the technology you need.
